Rachel Brantley
Hello!
My name is Rachel Brantley. I am a sweet Southern girl who is a book nerd. I enjoy reading just about anything, but my main genre would have to be Young Adult. I am currently a sophomore in college studying English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. I hope to one day work in the publishing field while writing on the side.
Growing up, writing seemed to be the one little talent that set me apart in my family. I have an older brother and older sister who both played sports, mainly baseball and softball. I followed in their footsteps and played softball, but I stuck my toe in cheerleading once an even played recreational soccer for a few years and a year of basketball. I enjoy watching sports as well, but mainly football and baseball. I tend to stick to the college level of sports, but I may catch a pros game every once in awhile.
I'm a shy person. It takes a few tries to really get me out of my shell unless the topic of conversation happens to be something I am truly interested in. Television and movies usually do the trick, especially if we are talking about shows or movies that aren't major hits but seem to have a cult following such as The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead, Nikita, The Crow, and others falling into that category.
